And The Winner Is…Entry #18, Patrick “Lucky” Tinney!!!!
After visiting each of our five finalists’ bathrooms and consulting with our industry professionals, we have arrived at a winner! Congratulations to Patrick “Lucky” Tinney, Entry #18, who will be the recipient of a $5,000 makeover to his bathroom! In addition to working tirelessly to secure hundreds of his friend’s and family’s votes, our panel of judges unanimously agreed that his bathroom’s existing structure would best benefit from the budget and expertise we can offer to him. The “wow” factor to Patrick’s makeover is going to be great, and we’re very excited to get started. We’ll be taking photos of the progress and posting them on Facebook, so be sure to check in on the progress, and especially the final product!
A huge thanks to all the entrants, the five Finalists, and 2000+ people who participated by voting and spreading the word to support their favorite entry! Our panel of judges, including interior designer Jennifer Brandenburg Smith, ASID, builder/contractor Marc Selz, and architect Henry Johnston, AIA, for lending their time and professional opinions to help us make a very difficult decision. We wish we could help all of our entrants with their bathroom dreams, and we hope they will remember Seemoretile.com for their next project.
We so enjoyed this contest and getting all of your feedback throughout this process, we look forward to hosting another contest as successful as this one again in the near future, so make sure you stay tuned! Thanks so much to our Fans on Facebook and beyond for rooting the entries on-- we hope you had as much fun as we did!
About our judges
Jennifer Brandenburg Smith, ASID

Mark Selz, Mark Selz Construction
Mark is a knowledgeable and well-respected home builder and contractor in the Wilmington area, and we have been thrilled to work with him on several projects, including a current bathroom renovation in the Wilmington area.
Henry Johnston, AIA, Johnston Architecture, LLP
Henry is a renowned architect with both residential and commercial projects. Locally, you can see his work in neighborhoods such as Figure 8 Island, the Eagle Point Country Club, and numerous structures in the Wilmington area.

We have been enjoying the warm weather although a little hot for June; record temperatures and the stifling humidity make for rather uncomfortable working conditions. Wish we’d had some warmth last winter as a lot of our work was outside, even in the balmy climes of North Carolina, on the coast we get some pretty chilly days. We have two jobs going now and both have A/C, but my guys won’t take a pay cut for the cushy working conditions!
Last week, we posted photos on our Facebook Fan Page Seemoretile.com of a Logo and in-progress tile mosaic installationfor the Greater Yeshuwa Temple in Wallace, NC. The church staff contacted us after finding us in a Google search, after two years of searching for someone who could handle an intricate, sophisticated representation of their beloved coat of arms. The complexity of their mosaic required a master talent. While we would be able to provide this service locally, Seemoretile.com is committed to bringing its customers the highest quality product at competitive prices, and often times that means partnering with other companies to develop a finished product beyond our customers’ expectations. For this project, we called on Phoenician Arts to help our clients. The detail is outstanding! The mural is 5 foot by 6 foot and contains over 17,000 pieces of marble in 6 colors. Years ago, I discovered Phoenician Arts, a company specializing in creating incredible, custom pieces of art at a tenth of the cost of allowing an installer design and create the mosaic, and in a tenth of the production time usually associated with such complex work. We have done many projects together over the years and I have never been disappointed with their craftsmanship and professionalism. It is always my pleasure to partner with both local and national industry professionals to provide our customers the best results. If we are involved from the beginning of the design process, I tend to work the job backwards to ensure the smoothness and structural integrity of the work. Often, clients and designer dream up a gorgeous design, and get excited about a project that is ultimately inappropriate or has mechanical problems that could create future headaches for the client. Allowing an experienced, knowledgeable contractor with access to vast resources and relationships with the best industry craftsmen will bring years of enjoyment of a well-built, beautiful final product.
